Privacy Policy

Short answer. What New York Predictions records and what it does not: no cookies, no analytics and no accounts, plus the email list, its processors and how to be removed.

New York Predictions is published by Market Movers Media Inc., which operates newyorkpredictions.com and the other state sites in this network. This policy sets out what the site records, why it records it, who processes it and how to have it removed. It describes a site with no accounts, nothing for sale and no advertising on it.

What this site records

What a reader gives it. An email address, and only if the reader asks for email updates. The address is stored against the publication it was given for, and nothing else about the reader is stored beside it.

What is recorded when a sign-up is refused. If the sign-up form rejects an address, New York Predictions keeps a masked version of that address (the first two characters, then asterisks, then the domain), the page the attempt came from and the user-agent string the browser sent. It also keeps rate-limit records, which count recent attempts so that automated abuse of the form can be stopped. A masked address cannot be turned back into the original.

What the host records. Ordinary web server logs, held by the hosting provider: IP address, browser, referring page, the pages requested and the time of each request.

What is bought from anyone else. Nothing. No personal information about a reader is purchased, imported or received from a data broker.

Cookies, analytics and browser storage

New York Predictions sets no cookies. It runs no analytics product, no advertising tag and no cross-site tracking pixel of any kind, so there is no tracking profile of a reader to disclose, share or sell.

One value is kept in the browser's own local storage: whether the reader prefers probabilities shown as percentages or as American odds. That value stays in the browser, is never sent back to the site and identifies nobody. Clearing site data removes it, and the site works the same without it.

No page on New York Predictions links out to an exchange. Where a contract is priced by Kalshi or another venue, the page names the venue in prose and there is nothing to click. No outbound link anywhere on the site carries a referral tag, an affiliate code or a tracking parameter, and the publisher earns nothing when a reader follows one.

What the information is used for

An email address is used to send what was asked for, with an unsubscribe link in every message, and for nothing else. Masked sign-up and rate-limit records are used to keep the sign-up form from being abused. Server logs are used to keep the site up and to investigate faults. None of it is used to build a profile of a reader, and none of it is sold, rented or handed to anyone else for marketing.

Who processes it

• Vercel, for website hosting and delivery.

• Supabase, for database hosting. The email list and the masked sign-up records live there.

Each acts on the publisher's instructions and for no purpose of its own. Prediction Genius supplies the market data this site displays and receives nothing about readers. No other processor holds personal information for New York Predictions.

How long it is kept

An email address is kept until the reader unsubscribes or asks for it to be deleted. Masked sign-up and rate-limit records are kept only while they are useful against automated abuse and are discarded after that. Server logs are held by the hosting provider under its own retention period.

A reader's rights

Depending on where a reader lives, they may ask to see the personal information held about them, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent to email at any time. Residents of California have rights under the CCPA, and residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR. Write to hello@marketmoversmediainc.com and say which site the request concerns.

Children

This site is not built for anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect information from a minor. If a minor has sent an email address to New York Predictions, write to the address above and it will be deleted.

Where the information is processed

The publisher is in the United States and the processors named above operate there. Using newyorkpredictions.com means information about the visit is processed in the United States, under standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard where the law requires one.

Changes to this policy

This policy is looked at on a fixed schedule, and any change is posted on this page with the date it takes effect. Continuing to use newyorkpredictions.com after a change means accepting the revised policy.
